As a health coach, Mariane Uehara is wholeheartedly committed to honoring your unique goals and wellness journey.
Her extensive training with the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute has provided her with a coaching foundation that is grounded in both research and 40 years of clinical practice. Mariane’s coaching style has been described as professional, positive, open, engaging, and sincere. She believes that anyone can create a positive and sustainable wellness transformation by taking small steps over time. As a mother of a four-year-old girl and one-year old boy, Mariane fuses her coaching know-how with her own experience navigating the challenges of health, wellness and motherhood.
Mariane Uehara studied Ecology at São Paulo State University in Brazil. She went on to earn a Master of Arts in Global Leadership and Sustainable Development at Hawaii Pacific University, while also serving as assistant coach to the cross county team. Mariane’s passion for sustainable living inspired her to become a Master Certified Health Coach at the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, where she specialized in pregnant women, families and seniors. She is currently studying for the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching Exam.
As a Certified Group Exercise Instructor with AFAA (Athletics and Fitness Association of America), she has led various Run Clubs and offered clinics to both runners and triathletes. She is a 6-time Ironman finisher and has raced and placed in dozens of marathons and triathlons.
