Cindy Anderson grew up in NY and began running in high school and also played soccer and softball. She ran XC and indoor and outdoor track for the University of Rhode Island and competed in events ranging from 800-10,000 meters. Cindy continued her love for trail running and racing longer distances as well as triathlons after college. She was fortunate to live in Hawaii from 2008-2014 and had the wonderful opportunity to return to Kailua in 2017. Cindy works as a postdoctoral scientist at the UH Center for Cardiovascular Research and is enthusiastic about leading a healthy lifestyle and sharing her passion for running and athletics of all kinds with others.
